I would choose Haman, but Im afraid I wont play until the end... I have a busy schedule I can be on all the time...

were all on busy schedules!! dont worry you can always drop it someone else will take your character or something... the point is to have fun, not be afraid of what might happen... I hope I didnt make it sound too serious
the point is to work together... post when you will be on next and stuff like that.. otherwise dont worry narrator can take over your character

Question:Admin- won't this story take a long time because if we want to have a dialogue, we can only write about ourself and not others

Admin: you should have a character named Marvin B. Simcha! or Michelle Nichnas

it might... well see how fast people post. if they post back fast then it will work fine otherwise will change the rules...
I didnt want people taking over other characters because then they will yell when someone messes with their character

throught the story I would like Bigson and seresh to continually fail in fullfilling hamman's plans(sortof like a Mr. magoo or Pink panther type of character) untill they accidently get overheard by Mordechai

also, don't start acting the parts of other people's characters. if shamguy says there's a sign, let him decide what the sign is.

..um... I will take this time to explain what an RPG game is officially.... I may post this on the front....
ok in a role playing game a user takes on the ROLE and PLAYS another character in the GAME
hence role playing game...

The narrator a.k.a the Dungeon master (DM) or a.k.a the game master whatever you call him...
he shapes the story and makes it make sense and causes the whole story to move...

the players take on roles of characters and move their character within the scope of the DM's story they DO NOT take over another characters person
that would be called mean and wrong because perhaps the character owner did not want that to happen and he had plans of his own?? Thats why you own your own character or characters....

Heres is an example:
the DM creates the story and lays down the rules and says there are only 3 characters involved...
he begins the story: "3 people are stuck on an island and are afraid and dont know how they got there..."

helen: (someone takes on the role as helen and begins the story)
helen awoke and looked around. She did not know where she was, but there was a man over ten feet away. she figured she would go ask him what was going on...

max: (whoever plays max takes into account the 'helen' post, but notice how max was not controlled?
max stared around wondering how in tarnation had he ended up here? last thing he remebered was the vodka...too much of it... he turned and notices a woman he had never seen before coming towards him...


basically picture it as a RPG computer game you can controll your characters but you cant controll what others will say or do. you can of course guess
as in: "max wondered what she would say? was she just as lost or did she know what was going on?"

I figured the purim story was an easy way to start this because everyone knows the story which is why everyone can be DM in this story... I hope....

Link... you will have to edit your post... this is not like the other stories... you dont continue from where the last person left off... you control your own character and create your own story within a big story...

so right now you can think about what lies ahead of you...
you will end up poisining the king but not yet...
maybe for now just show how bigson likes the king and slowly develop the character to start to hate him.... and then slowly you will make your story... on how bigson went from sweet to murderer....
of course thats my idea and thats what I would do... you can do your own...

if anyone wants to be vashti you may be so just say.... I am just showing how the story should roll with each character being seperate... and yes I controlled 2 characters my mian one (vashti) and the other was a no name character so who cares??

Brick-1 whats fun about making the story historically accurate? I thought I had a good idea going.
2- the sign was Achasverosh geting killed, but of course their plan will fail because he is in the story later on.

Admin- I don't like the idea of becoming sweet to murderer-he was bad to begin with...I think I'll stick to the way I described Bigson Earlyer.

If I am understanding your question correctly... thats exaclty what the admin just did.... vashti is in the palace in a totally different room than haman
...and bigson maybe is somewhere else.... fixing the plumbing in some far tower... I dunno.... you make it up!!! its your own story with bigson!! thats what makes it so cool... we make up our own stories and then they collide!!

is anyone going to take the other characters??? Is anybody going to post??? or everyone thinks this is just another stupid story.... I think its going well so far..... you can only control tyour character so the story cant get ruined only what you do to your own character

According to Rav Shafier from the Shmuz-Achashverosh controlled 227 medinas (the whole world) before the events in the Megilla-he then lost 100 of them. All the medinas he lost didn’t contain any Jews. Achashverosh realized this phenomenon and took it as a sign that he would be able to destroy the Jews. He then had a party to get the Jews to sin. Just thought that I should add something educational. Everything else which I’m writing about (including the part how Bigson was the one to capture...etc…) is false

What the hell is with the stupid sign!!??? I dont mean to be rude... but its kind of getting annoying...
oh... is it because I wrote that MY (emphasis the word 'my' ) haman character was waiting for a sign?
well that sign was kind of a play on words that involved my character and no one else...
you will find out what sign he is talking about when I decide... though it should be quite obvious if you know the purim story... hes wating to come out of the shadows.... obviously im talking about when he becomes prime minister and the jews have sinned enough....
see... writing a story kind of involves thinking into the future and what you want to happen...
and thank you for telling me who my character is related to....

Ha!! so there!! I am not part of your weird plot or have any thing to do with it.... I am sticking with the purim story... if I want I will have a side story but it wont involve other characters -unless they want to join....
but right now I am instantiating my character and his attitude... you should do the same...
