Adobe Photoshop CS3 - Tutorials and more!
This topic is for Photoshop users. Here i will post and link many tutorials on the use of Photoshop, from making lightsabers glow to text effects, and some graphic design pointers. I hope to eventually have a comprehensive resource for newcomers to photoshop, and ask everyone to contribute as you can.

Re: Adobe Photoshop CS3 - Tutorials and more!
I apologize for the delay, here are a few decent tutorials; http://www.photoshopstar.com/
This site shows you how to make a "mockup" of a website (a mockup is simply a picture that "looks" like a webpage so the designer can show it to prospective clients without spending all the time coding it. Once a specific mockup has been approved, the webmaster can proceed to program and code a "real" website based on the mockup provided.) with a very professional look.
THIS is a similar type of tutorial, but it uses a slightly different method.
Creating textures from a photo
This is a very detailed tutorial that demonstrates emulating vector graphics in photoshop. (Vector Graphics utilizes "curves" to create an image; every varient in the picture is described by the intricate placement of "curves" to make up the image. This allows the picture to be expanded infinitley without any loss in quality. Pixel Graphics uses point-based images; every dot in the picture is an individual pixel. The image can only be enlarged so much before losing quality. Illustrator is a Vector program, while Photoshop uses pixels (mainly).
AND, last but not least, http://photoshoptutorials.ws/ has thousands of tutorials, mostly based on photo editing and photo manipulation.
