The BEST Teachers Empty The BEST Teachers

Post by HomerPalooza67 Tue Feb 19, 2008 2:20 am

This should contain a comprehensive list of those professors who are the best option for a particular subject.

Through experience, i have learned that Prof. Snow, while a skilled mathematics teacher, is also very work intensive. For Pre-Cal and Statistics, you will learn a lot, but have to work very hard.
On the other hand, Prof. Teich, while very good as well, tends to be a little more relaxed with his work assignments.

Please keep this topic serious, only make comments if they are helpful to the topic at hand, thanks.

Professor Perry teaches Psychology classes and in my opinion, he is a really great teacher. He teaches basic psychology topics like Freud and Piaget, and he has 2 finals. pretty easy if you take notes the whole semester. So take notes and you'll do well. He is also funny so its awesome!

Rabbi Shmulewitz is an amazing rebbe - he teaches for an advanced skill level, yet makes his shiur understandable to just about anyone. He has a very silly sense of humor, combined with his intelligent teaching style, make him one of the best rabbeim I've ever had. As a bonus, if you take notes in shiur, then you are exempt from the final

One of the great teachers here is Rabbi Adelman. He makes great Rabbi Jokes and he is super easy. I took him for MCO140 and it was a great class. He is super.

Prof. Budick is also a great teacher. He teaches you how to write even though he gives alot of work. He loves shakespeare. To quote me quoting him quoting shakespeare "Seems madam, I know not seems."

Firstly, The Bronze is the best Rebbe. Furthermore shamguy, its GhErgi not ghurgi. RoaringTiger, come on, Budick is definitely NOT among the top teachers list - I have him for Lit and it is the worst class ever. Howie and Irv are the worst professors. They dont know the material and if you argue with them they T you up.
Enough said.

I agree with Klepdiggity that The Bronze rocks. However, I disagree about Howie. Howie is by far the best professor in Ned flanders. Even if you suck in his class, like most of the people who take it do, you still get a good grade for just showing up. Also, under no circumstances should you take online computer classes with Fink. It would be the third to worst class decision you could make behind Zucker and Shinnar. Take Rabbi Adelman for computers. Ghergi is the best for math. Miodownik is good for psych. Hoffman is the best for Lit. Mendell is good for Comp but he is tough grader. So is Budick but he gives way more work.

Klepdiggity is off his rocker. Firstly, Budick is awesome he runs around the classroom and jumps and screams. I never had Howie or Irv so I can not tell youhow they are. And R' Mirsky shiur is the best.

Very nice RoaringTiger, resorting to insults - the first sign of defeat.
Hey Brick Tamland, you should come speak to me or other bio majors to get some info. Bottom line is that if you are preparing for the Mcats or Dats, you will be fully prepared by taking gen chem and orgo with Shinnar and bio, genetics, and cell and molec with Danishefsky.
p.s. Hey Howie, I dont want you reading too much into this post and leaving some stupid comments. Hamaiven Yavin.

problem is i am not preparing for the mcats or the dats, otherwise i do see the sense in continuing in that class. after genchem i will not be continuing with chemistry, it is only a requirement for me as i am going to do physical therapy and it is one of the prerequisites for me to get into the graduate programs.
